The Califoia based AMA Waterways (formerly Amadeus waterways) is one of the newest entrants in the world of river cruising. With a fleet of 12 ships (including 2 entrants in 2010 and 2011), AMA’s mode fleet of ships offers spacious staterooms, regional cuisine, guided port stops, complimentary wi-fi and (on most ships) complimentary bikes with which to explore the local areas. Their staff is inteational and there is plenty of entertainment on board their ships. Besides exciting cruises on the Danube and Rhine, Mosel and Main, AMAWATERWAYS offers destination cruises to the breathtaking Porto River Valley in Portugal; a Provencal sojou on the romantic Rhone river in France, and exciting cruises on the Mekong River in Vietnam and Cambodia.
